These print-outs introduce young students to research on the Internet using the Little Explorers picture dictionary. Students use the on-line dictionary to look up the answers to a set of questions.

Quiz Instructions:

1. Give each student (or a group of 2-3 students) a print-out. Instructions for printing are below.
2. Have each student go to the Little Explorers Picture Dictionary.
3. The student will use Little Explorers to answer the questions in the print-out. For example, if the letter hint is "K," the student should go to the "K" page in Little Explorers picture Dictionary (by clicking on the "K" at the top of the dictionary page). The student should then try to find the word in the dictionary that answers the question.
4. This activity works well with small groups (2-3 students at each computer) competing against other groups in an online "scavenger hunt."
